In 2013, Beyoncé confirmed what we had been assuming for years. She, in fact, wakes up flawless. The track off of her self-titled album, Beyoncé, was a humble nod to the singer’s impeccable person. However, the 37-year-old’s mom has no qualms about proudly underscoring her daughter’s beauty.
Wednesday, Tina Knowles-Lawson posted a video to Instagram (that has since been removed ) where she’s seen basking in Beyoncé’s inches. “Au Naturel darling,” Lawson exclaimed as she revealed the singer’s roots. We don’t know if Beyoncé was trying to be modest, but she quickly dismissed her mom’s recognition.
In the video, The Lion King star can be heard commenting: “Mama, that’s really annoying. I mean, very annoying.”
“I was trimming my baby’s hair today and I am mocking Neal! Getting on her nerves! Being really annoying,” Lawson captioned the Instagram post. While Bey, may not have been here for her mom’s flick, social media was here for Queen Bey’s natural hair—all twenty plus flawless inches of it.
In the post’s comment section, one fan wrote: “Y’all can’t tell Bey ain’t got no hair. slayyyyyyyy that beautiful hair Mrs. Carter.”
The post spilled onto twitter, where another fan wrote: “I need her hair routine and products RIGHT NOW! I’m kidding [I’m] sure I can’t afford them.”
We’re keeping an eye out to see if mama Knowles discloses Bey’s hair care regimen. Keep your fingers crossed, because you know the Queen doesn’t play with NDAs.
